Clinicians’ union KUCO is calling on the Council of Governors to establish a Health Authority to handle the welfare of health workers. The union chairperson Peterson Wachira says the authority will be mandated with hiring and remuneration of health workers. He says they will remain on strike until UHC workers are hired on Permanent and Pensionable terms.
