A man from Kabras East, in Kakamega County has been handed a life sentence after the court found him guilty of sexually assaulting his two-year old daughter. The Court heard that the offence occurred on the 16th of December 2025 after the child’s mother briefly left home leaving the accused and the child asleep on the same bed. In his defence, the accused denied the allegations and claimed that he had left the child at home alone. However, the court found the prosecution's evidence to be credible, consistent and sufficient to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt.
