A Kakamega court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment after convicting him of defiling his two-year-old daughter. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions said the Kabras East resident was found guilty after the case was proved beyond reasonable doubt. Prosecutor Emily Owora relied on medical evidence from Malava County Hospital, where a clinical officer confirmed penetration had occurred, while the child identified her father as the person who assaulted her.
