A medical doctor allegedly abducted by armed men and held for a Sh3 million ransom has been rescued by police in Athi River. According to the DCI, the medic was seized at a mall in Juja while with friends by three suspects who handcuffed him and forced him into a Subaru Forester. Acting on intelligence and with help from the public, officers tracked the vehicle to Athi River and secured his safe release. Detectives have launched a manhunt for two suspects still at large.
