Medical Services PS Ouma Oluga has urged stronger collaboration between government and the private sector to drive sustainable investments that strengthen Kenya’s health systems. Speaking at a Safaricom Foundation stakeholder forum in Nairobi, he said philanthropic funding must align with Universal Health Coverage reforms and support scalable, county-led solutions. Oluga cited maternal and newborn health and rising non-communicable diseases as priority areas for targeted investment across the country in years.
