Chief Justice Martha Koome has termed early pregnancy a child justice crisis in Bungoma County, citing 125 pending defilement cases before the Bungoma Law Courts. CJ Koome called for a county-wide action plan involving the Judiciary, county government and child protection agencies. She also urged the county to expand children's rescue centres to all sub-counties.
