A Kabarnet court has sentenced a 19-year-old man to two years in prison after he admitted stealing five chickens worth more than KSh3,000 in Baringo Central. Isaac Kosgei also pleaded guilty to handling stolen property. The court heard the complainant traced one of the stolen chickens to a poultry seller in Kabarnet town, leading to investigations and Kosgei's arrest.
