The Kenya Community Development Foundation has awarded Sh31.5 million to seven youth-led enterprises developing innovative solutions to Kenya's environmental challenges. Selected from more than 700 applicants under the Young Environmentalist Innovation Challenge, the winners are advancing projects in plastic waste management, clean energy, water conservation, sustainable agriculture and affordable housing. KCDF says the initiative is empowering young innovators to create jobs while driving practical solutions to the country's growing climate and environmental challenges.
