More than 460 learners had been arrested by mid-June this year over school unrest, Education PS John Ololtuaa has told MPs. The PS said 462 students were arrested, investigated or arraigned in court over offences including arson, attempted arson, vandalism and incitement. Nyanza recorded the highest number of cases at 121, followed by Eastern with 117 and Rift Valley with 90, raising concern over rising school violence.
