Kenyan music star Nadia Mukami has addressed claims of staged drama following her 10th-anniversary concert on Saturday night. The event was meant to celebrate a decade of hits and her growth as a performer.
However, the evening took an unexpected turn when her former partner, Arrow Bwoy, made an unannounced appearance on stage.
Addressing "Clout Chasing" Claims
The reunion sparked immediate debate online. Some fans questioned if their previous breakup was genuine or a "clout chasing" stunt to drum up publicity. Nadia took to Instagram to laugh off these suggestions.
“The fact that the whole country thinks it's clout makes me just laugh!” she pointed out.
She pointed out that they had both happened to wear yellow outfits by accident, which added to the public's suspicion.

She insisted that the matching attire was a coincidence.
“Only people close to us know this was PURELY a coincidence!!!”
A Strategic Surprise
Arrow Bwoy did not arrive alone. He walked onto the stage carrying their child. Nadia later suggested this move was calculated to ensure she did not react negatively to his presence. She admitted that she was blindsided by his arrival.
"Mimi sikujua anakuja. And he came with the child kwa sababu anajua akiwa na mtoto wangu siwezi mfanyia kitu," Nadia stated after the event.
The Public Apology
During the celebration, Arrow Bwoy took the microphone to address Nadia in front of the gathered guests. He spoke about her significance in his life and asked for forgiveness for any past mistakes. He praised her as a central figure in his world.
"Hakuna siku nitawahi kukosea heshima. Hakuna siku na kama nimekosa kama sijui naomba unisamehe," Arrow Bwoy told the crowd.
Despite the public nature of the plea, Nadia remained unmoved. She clarified that she did not see the gesture as a resolution to their underlying issues.
Standing Firm on Relationship Status
Nadia was quick to tell the audience that her feelings had not changed. She suggested that the time for such gestures might have already passed. She remains adamant that the romantic rift between them has not healed.
"But if that is an apology. Rudi and that is not an apology and nothing is gonna be the same, maybe acha mtu amemove on," she said. She further emphasised her stance by stating, "Everything iko the same".
A Complicated History
The two stars share a complicated history and have two children together. While Arrow Bwoy attempted to bridge the gap with a public display of humility, Nadia's response indicates that the road to reconciliation remains closed.
