Speaking during the tour, Lyle praised the passion and loyalty displayed by Kenyan supporters, saying the reception they have received has once again reaffirmed the country’s love for the North London club.
Bringing Arsenal Closer to Kenyan Fans
The tour is designed to allow local supporters to meet the faces behind AFTV while celebrating the global Arsenal community. Beyond football discussions, the visit has also created a platform for conversations around digital content creation, fan culture and the growing influence of African football audiences.
On Saturday, Lyle and Thomas joined hundreds of Arsenal fans in Nairobi for a watch party as the Gunners faced Spanish side Girona in a pre-season friendly. The event featured live match reactions, fan discussions and photo sessions, recreating the atmosphere that has made AFTV one of football’s most recognizable fan channels.
He added that he had been impressed not only by the football atmosphere but also by the creativity of Kenyan fans and content creators.
“This wasn’t just a watch party. It was insane. And the creative talent we’ve encountered here has been mind-blowing.”
Not Their First Visit
This is not the first time AFTV has visited Kenya. The platform has previously engaged with local Arsenal supporters, reflecting the strong relationship it has built with Kenyan fans over the years.

Their latest visit continues that tradition, offering supporters another chance to interact with personalities they have followed online for years while reinforcing Kenya’s place within Arsenal’s global fan community.
The tour is expected to continue with additional fan and community engagements, including a visit to Kibra, as AFTV seeks to celebrate football’s ability to connect supporters beyond the stadium.
For many Arsenal fans in Kenya, the visit is more than an opportunity to meet familiar faces from YouTube. It is a recognition of the country’s enduring passion for the club and the important role Kenyan supporters continue to play in the global Arsenal family.
