Kenyan content creator Maureen Waititu has surprised her followers by revealing a luxury vehicle as a gift for National Girlfriend’s Day. The social media personality took to Instagram to showcase a black Toyota Prado SUV. This reveal followed an earlier post where she joked about her expectations for the day.

The Initial Hope for Flowers

The story began a day before the official celebration. Ms Waititu shared a post featuring a bouquet. She informed her followers that she had initially hoped for a car but received a floral arrangement instead.

She noted that her flower supplier did not stock vehicles. "For Girlfriends Day I hoped for an automobile–but my flower plug @flowerdeliveryke said they don’t sell them there," she wrote.

She humorously added, "so they delivered mine early- but who knows?"

"Ooopsy, I think I spoke too soon -see my last 4th flower post," she told her followers. She explained that while she expected a simple gesture, she received a significant gift.

"I thought Girlfriend’s Day was going to be just flowers but the King showed up and now I’m a SUV owner heyyyy," she shared.
