Women leaders in the country are calling for a more inclusive approach towards combating GBV as it now emerges that one in every four women is affected, but the cases are not reported.  The President’s advisor on women rights Harriette Chiggai says that despite the efforts the government is putting in place to tame this matter, there are cases that still go unreported and thus, many women are left with the stigma and in some cases, result to femicide.
