Survivors of the 2007–2008 post-election sexual violence have urged the Supreme Court to end what they describe as nearly 13 years of delayed justice. Through a petition backed by rights organisations including the Coalition on Violence Against Women accuse the State of excluding survivors of sexual and gender-based violence from reparations offered to other victims of political violence.
