President William Ruto has pledged to expand access to larger loans for borrowers under the Hustler Fund while issuing a fresh update on the progress of the programme. In a statement on X, Ruto disclosed that the fund has so far disbursed Sh90 billion to 28 million borrowers through its Personal Loan, Bridge Loan and Hustler Groups products. According to the President, the programme is currently lending about Sh50 million every day to borrowers across the country.
