The National Council on the Administration of Justice has launched five reform initiatives aimed at improving justice delivery across the country. The measures include people-centred justice guidelines, a Justice Sector ICT Policy and Action Plan, grassroots procedures for handling sexual and GBV cases, and a common framework for reducing case backlogs. The council that is chaired by CJ Martha Koome says the reforms will strengthen coordination and make justice more accessible to Kenyans.
