Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has cautioned DCP aspirants and supporters against engaging in violence during political meetings. Gachagua has instead urged them to embrace peaceful competition ahead of the party's nominations for the 2027 General Election. Speaking during a meeting with Nyandarua leaders, Gachagua said political contests should be conducted democratically and without confrontation, warning that violence would only undermine party unity.
