She credited her instructor with creating an encouraging environment that has helped her attempt techniques she previously believed were beyond her ability.
"Thank you, Karen Kaz Lucas, for creating such a supportive space and constantly pushing me to achieve moves I never imagined I could do," Sharon wrote.
Six Reasons Behind Her Passion
According to Sharon, pole dancing has become much more than a workout.
She said the sport has improved her strength, flexibility and coordination while also boosting her confidence.
She added that every training session challenges her to keep improving and reminds her that progress comes through consistency.

"Every class teaches me something new and reminds me that growth happens when you keep showing up," she said.
Pole Dancing as a Fitness Activity
Although pole dancing is sometimes associated with entertainment, it has increasingly gained recognition worldwide as a form of exercise.
Fitness instructors describe it as a full-body workout that combines strength training, balance, flexibility and endurance.
Many studios now offer classes focused purely on fitness and athletic development.
Participants often progress through different levels as they master techniques that require upper-body strength, core stability, and coordination.
