The Ministry of Health and the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative are moving to formalise cooperation through a Memorandum of Understanding on biomedical research and innovation. Health CS Aden Duale says the agreement will support research, capacity building, clinical development and knowledge exchange. He says the partnership will strengthen Kenya's ambition to become a regional hub for vaccine development, biomanufacturing and epidemic preparedness while advancing Universal Health Coverage.
