Kenyan gospel singer Justina Syokau has revealed that she lost 17 kilogrammes in just two months, saying the transformation was achieved through the use of Ozempic, regular exercise and a high-protein diet.
According to Syokau, she reduced her weight from 96kg to 79kg, describing the combination of medication, physical activity and dietary changes as the approach behind her progress.
Syokau’s announcement quickly generated mixed reactions online, with some followers praising her transformation while many others responded with jokes and memes.
User bigbadogre_ joked: “Una lose weight una kua mamba pro max😂.” Another, pre.tender., wrote: “Saii ukitaka ku trend… Loose weight 🙌😂.”

Others questioned the growing popularity of weight-loss transformations. nasty_spido asked: “Kwani kuna outbreak ya loss weight 😂😂.” _wairim. u remarked: “😂mnajiumba sana bana😂.”
Health concerns also raised
Some commenters shifted the discussion towards the use of Ozempic itself rather than Syokau’s appearance.
lifewithmwangi cautioned: “Fun fact: side effects may cause possible Thyroid tumor, cancer… Unless you’re Type 2 diabetic, avoid Ozempic; be informed 🙂.”
Another user, manirunthawrld, claimed: “Ozempic eats bones on the inside for those that don’t know.”
While Ozempic carries safety warnings and potential side effects, patients are encouraged to follow prescribed treatment plans and discuss any risks or concerns before starting the medication.
