Access to brain healthcare remains limited due to a shortage of neurological specialists. Neurosurgeon Benjamin Mutiso says although the country has increased the number of specialists over the past 15 years, more investment is needed to strengthen neurological services in county referral hospitals as World Brain Day is marked under the theme “Brain Health Access for All.”
