Kenyan socialite and influencer Amber Ray has revealed the primary reason for her journey to Turkey. In a series of candid videos shared with her followers on Instagram stories, she confirmed she is travelling for a breast augmentation procedure.
The socialite explained that the decision is rooted in her philosophy of self-prioritisation. She told her audience that she believes in taking care of her own needs before attending to others.
The Philosophy of Self-Love
Ray spoke openly about her mindset regarding self-care and her personal life. She expressed a deep sense of self-appreciation, stating that this outlook is well-understood by those closest to her.
"I’m about to start my journey to perfect my boobs. One thing about me is I love myself too much. Oh my God, I love me too much," Ray shared in her video update.
She added that her family is fully aware of her perspective: "And everyone in my life knows that including my husband and my kids. Like when it comes to me, I come fast. The rest follow,” she added.
A Long-Awaited Change
The influencer revealed that cosmetic surgery is something she has considered for a significant period. She described the specific aesthetic she is hoping to achieve, noting that she is not looking for a dramatic change in size but rather a specific look.
"You know, I've been meaning to do my boob job for the longest. For the longest," she told her followers. Detailing her preferences, she said, "I just want to have kubwa kidogo, not big. Okay. Big kidogo, and firm boobs."

The choice of Turkey as a destination was motivated by finding a medical provider she felt comfortable with. Turkey has become a global hub for medical tourism.
According to industry data, the country attracts hundreds of thousands of international patients annually for various procedures, including hair transplants and cosmetic surgeries.
Ray expressed her relief at finally selecting a facility. "I found someone in Turkey who I can finally trust to do my boobs," she said.
"I've been waiting for the right time. I guess this is it, guys. This is it."
The socialite did not hide her excitement about the upcoming transformation. She told her fans that she had been waiting for the perfect moment to move forward with the surgery.
"Oh my God. But I'm super excited," she exclaimed during her announcement. "I cannot wait. I cannot wait. Oh my God. I'm super excited.”
Ray concluded her update by telling her audience that they should be prepared for her return post-surgery.
