Health workers are set to demonstrate in Nairobi tomorrow, demanding permanent and pensionable employment for UHC staff. Clinical officers, nutritionists and laboratory technicians are protesting counties’ failure to issue appointment letters despite the Ministry of Health releasing funds for the process and agreeing to disburse them as equitable funds. The health workers begun their nationwide strike on Monday.
