Migori Governor Ochillo Ayacko has urged health workers to prioritize dialogue over strikes, warning that industrial action disrupts essential medical services. He encouraged unions to explore alternative ways of resolving disputes. Speaking to more than 170 clinical officers from facilities across the county, Ayacko also condemned the theft of hospital medicines, saying the vice fuels persistent drug shortages and undermines service delivery in public health facilities.
