Rue Baby has reached out to her followers for urgent health advice. The model and daughter of Kenyan musician and entrepreneur Akothee confirmed she is currently underweight.

Her public admission highlights a side of the fitness struggle that is often overlooked. While many people focus on shedding pounds, Rue Baby is desperate to add them.

The Struggle to Gain

Rue Baby, whose real name is Celine Dion Okello, took to Facebook to share her frustration. She revealed that her current weight is a concern for her. She expressed a strong desire to reach a specific weight milestone to improve her health.

The model explained that her diet is not the cause of the issue. She described eating three substantial, heavy meals every single day. Her diet includes traditional Kenyan staples known for being filling.

"Guys Ebu nisaidieni serious ya ukweli. I eat thrice a day, heavily, matoke ugali and everything Lakini sinoni."

She asked her online community for genuine and effective tips. Her tone was one of genuine concern as she looked for a solution to her plateau.

“Shida iko wapi aki, nifike ata 50kgs. I’m underweight,” she added.

A Different Battle: Edday Nderitu

While Rue Baby fights to put on weight, others like Edday Nderitu are on the opposite path. Edday is the estranged wife of Mugithi singer Samidoh. She relocated to the United States in May 2023 with her three children. Since then, she has been documenting her own gruelling fitness journey.

Edday recently reflected on the mental and physical toll of her efforts. She admitted that the process of changing her body has been incredibly difficult.

"Losing weight isn’t easy."

She has been working toward her health goals for three years. It has not been a straight path to success for the mother of three.

The Reality of Body Goals

Both women face the reality of "plateaus." Edday revealed she has been stalled at her current weight for four months. This is despite losing 20 kg over the past year. She still has another 15 kg left to lose.

"I’m choosing to celebrate how far I’ve come instead of focusing on how far i still have to go."

Edday emphasises the need for daily consistency. She focuses on making one healthy choice at a time to stay motivated.

"One day, one workout, one healthy choice at a time."

Rue Baby continues to build her career in the fashion industry while managing these health goals. Edday Nderitu remains focused on her new life in the US. Both stories show that body transformation is a slow and personal process.
