Controversial Nairobi forex trader Kenyan Prince has declared he has no intention of repossessing the luxury BMW car he gifted his partner, Stephanie Ngunjiri. This comes amid intense social media speculation that the couple has split up.
The online storm erupted after videos emerged of the trader getting close to another woman at a coastal festival. Despite the brewing drama, Kenyan Prince has chosen to leave the high-end vehicle with Ngunjiri.
"I Can't Drive a Woman's Car"
In a trending TikTok live broadcast, the flamboyant trader addressed fans who questioned whether he would take back the car. Speaking in a mix of Swahili and English, he insisted that gifts remain with the recipient regardless of relationship status.
"Tukiachana na mtu, kenye nilimnunulia ni yake," Kenyan Prince stated during the broadcast.
"Mimi, sasa mnataka nipeleke wapi BMW?" he asked his viewers. "Mimi siwezi endesha gari za wanawake."
The trader made it clear that he would not be seen driving a car originally meant for a woman. He noted that the vehicle should remain with Ngunjiri to help her move around.
"Acha ikamsaidie man," he added during the video clip. "Hiyo ikamsaidie tu nayo."
Refusal to be Broke
The self-declared multi-millionaire also used the live session to hit back at critics who suggested the breakup might affect his financial standing. He strongly rejected the idea that leaving the vehicle behind would hurt his pocket.
"I am not broke," he shouted to the camera. "I refuse to be broke. I refuse to be a brokey."
The Summer Tides Controversy
The drama started over the weekend at the Summer Tides festival in Malindi. Videos recorded on 6 July 2026 showed Kenyan Prince sitting side by side with an unidentified woman.
The two were captured drinking together before the trader showed physical affection toward her. The footage quickly went viral across TikTok and Instagram, sparking heavy criticism from fans.
While the event was happening in Malindi, his long-term girlfriend Stephanie Ngunjiri was away in Dubai. She did not travel back to Kenya for the weekend beach festival.
Instagram Deactivated
Following the viral spread of the festival clips, the couple's digital footprints changed rapidly. Kenyan Prince posted a single heartbreak emoji on his Instagram stories on Tuesday.
Minutes later, Ngunjiri completely deactivated her official Instagram account. This move led thousands of followers to assume that the long-term relationship had officially ended.
Kenyan Prince previously told critics to stay out of his personal affairs. "Y'all keep judging us, and you are way worse than us," he said in an earlier clip. "Everybody has their own flaws. And guys, that is what is called life."
