A murder suspect who confessed to killing his elder brother has been ordered to undergo a mental examination at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital before his case proceeds at the Eldoret High Court. Albert Kiprop, 34, appeared before Eldoret High Court yesterday where he admitted to the murder charge relating to the death of his brother Daniel Ngetich. Kiprop shocked the court when he openly confessed to killing Ngetich, 54, using a sharp object during an incident reported to have occurred at Chelelmetio village in Moiben Sub-County, Uasin Gishu County last month.
