An Eldoret High Court has sentenced a man to 35 years in prison after convicting him of murdering his two children by poisoning them. The DPP says prosecutors proved that Musa Saka laced vegetables with a poisonous chemical following a domestic dispute with his wife. Two children died while a surviving child testified against him. In sentencing, Justice Wananda said the victims died at the hands of the person entrusted with their care and protection.
