David Oyando, popularly known as the comedian and businessman Mulamwah, has finally addressed the long-standing rumors surrounding his relationship with a lady named Emillianah Mwikali.
Speaking on the Over 1M Podcast with host Tony Mwirigi, the content creator sought to clear the air following his public split from his baby mama, Ruth K.
For weeks, social media has been rife with speculation that Emillianah was Mulamwah’s new partner. These rumours intensified after the two were seen together shortly after his previous relationship ended.
A "Platonic" Connection
During the candid interview, Mulamwah was firm about the nature of their bond. He described the relationship as purely friendly and devoid of any romantic involvement.
He explained that they have known each other for a very long time.

He further clarified that they do not communicate frequently, noting it has been a while since they last spoke due to their busy schedules.
Focusing on a "Peace Season"
Mulamwah’s decision to speak out comes during what he calls his peace season. After years of public feuds and social media scrutiny, the entertainer is now prioritising his mental health and stability.
He admitted that fame often comes with significant pressure. He mentioned that he now avoids online drama and even blocks certain individuals to protect his energy.
"The hunger I have now is for peace... just to have that calm and enjoy life," he told the host.
Wealth and Investments
Beyond his personal life, Mulamwah remains one of Kenya’s most disciplined investors in the creative space. He started his journey as a "status comedian" making 15-second clips. Today, he manages a vast portfolio of assets.
