Writing from the United States, the former child star used his social media platform to call for peace and caution. His message comes at a time of high emotion for many Kenyans, remembering the events of two years ago.

Malik Lemmy shared his thoughts via his Instagram stories. The actor, who grew up on Kenyan television screens, urged those participating in today’s commemorations to be careful.
In a post set to the patriotic tune of Kakai Kilonzo’s 'Kenya Nchi Yangu,' he spoke directly to those heading out to demonstrate. He combined English and Swahili to deliver a message of safety.
He concluded his post by wishing for "peace and love" for his brethren and asking for God’s blessings on the people of Kenya.

Pursuing the Hollywood Dream
Malik’s message comes from thousands of miles away. The 26-year-old actor relocated to the United States in April 2026. His move was driven by a desire to further his acting career and pursue opportunities in Hollywood.
Shortly after arriving in New York City, Malik travelled to Seattle, Washington. This trip was a deeply personal one.He experienced an emotional reunion with his father after more than twenty years apart.
