Sky Victor, daughter of controversial pastor, Kanyari has opened up about the emotional challenges she has faced since the death of her mother, Betty Bayo, saying many people who were once close to her mum no longer check in on her and her brother, Danny.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Sky expressed disappointment over what she described as a complete absence of support from her late mother’s friends.
According to Sky, none of them have visited their home or reached out to see how the siblings are coping.

“Guys, when I say zero people check up on us, if you know you are my mum’s friend, you have never come to our house, you have never come to check up on us.”
“So they never come, they never check up on Danny or me. After my mum went, they also went.”
Her comments quickly sparked a wider online conversation about grief and the reality that relationships often change after the death of a loved one.

The emotional revelation comes months after her father, Pastor Victor Kanyari, spoke publicly about Sky’s growing independence.
In a light-hearted conversation, he revealed that his daughter had secured a partnership with a maize flour company and was reportedly earning KSh500,000 per month.
He said Sky was already taking charge of her finances.
“Imagine mwezi ukilipwa elfu mia tano na unaskia Sky akiniambia, ‘No dad, it has to go to my account,’” he said.
While the remarks highlighted her confidence and growing independence, Sky’s recent comments serve as a reminder that financial success does not always shield young people from emotional struggles.
