In a video shared on her Instagram account, the seasoned media personality found herself in the hot seat while sitting in the driver’s seat of her car. Jakes, seated in the passenger side, wasted no time pointing out that his mother was sporting the same blazer for the second day in a row.
The "Blazer Debate" Begins
The exchange began with Jakes asking why she was embarrassing him by repeating her outfit.
“I have a question; isn’t the second day in a row you are wearing this blazer? Why are you embarrassing me? Why are you repeating clothes?” he asked her.
Joyce, clearly caught off guard by the early morning critique, questioned why it was an issue at all.

To drive his point home, Jakes attempted to draw a parallel between outerwear and footwear. He asked her to consider the practicality of him wearing socks for two consecutive days, implying that hygiene should be a concern.
However, Gituro was quick to shut down the comparison. She pointed out that socks are prone to smelling after use, a fate she claimed did not befall her wardrobe choices.
When Jakes asked if she didn't feel sweaty wearing the same item again, her response was firm and humorous: "I don't sweat."
