The internet is currently abuzz after a video featuring a woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to popular Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi went viral. In the footage, the lady is captured wearing a striking blue chequered blazer over a light blue shirt, a look that echoes the comedian’s signature style.
To further heighten the resemblance, she is seen playfully adjusting a fake moustache and sporting long, manicured nails, mirroring the comedian's flamboyant fashion choices.
Eric Omondi and Babymama Reacts
The resemblance struck a chord with netizens, who flooded social media platforms to express their amazement. Eric Omondi himself couldn’t resist joining the conversation, commenting, "Kunaendaje huku??" (What is happening here??) on the post.
His partner, Lynne Njihia, joined in the light-hearted banter, writing, "Endeleeni kuconfuse mtoto kabisa" (Continue confusing the child). Other celebrities, including 2mbili, also weighed in with humour, stating, "The cost of being Eric Omondi."

This is not the first time Eric Omondi has crossed paths with his lookalikes. Previously, he gained significant media attention after meeting his viral lookalike, Samuel Muigai, a resident of Githurai.
The meeting between Eric and Samuel was widely publicised, showcasing the comedian's willingness to embrace the attention surrounding his doppelgängers.
Samuel Muigai first realised his striking similarity to the celebrity in 2020. This was shortly after he had completed college and was searching for employment.
He recalled that the first person who saw him while he was seeking a plumbing job called him "Eric Omondi." The person was surprised that Omondi would be looking for work, having quit comedy.
“It was the year 2020 after kumaliza college, venye nilienda kutafuta kazi mara ya kwanza, the first person kuniona aliniita Eric Omondi. Alishangaa Eric anatafuta kazi ameacha comedy,” he revealed in a past interview.
