Tanzanian music superstar Alikiba has landed in Kenya ahead of the much-anticipated One Night Only 2026 concert, expressing immense joy and excitement about performing in the country he holds dear.

Fresh from Tanzania, the “Cinderella” hitmaker could not hide his happiness as he prepares for what promises to be a historic night of music. His arrival has already generated buzz among Kenyan fans eager to see him grace the stage once again.

In a interview with Mpasho at the airport, Alikiba said he is “feeling really good” about the show, especially after being reminded that the king has to be present.

“When you have said that the king has to be there… I’m feeling really good,” he stated. “All the other artists will be there. When all these kings and queens meet, just know we will deliver.”

The One Night Only concert is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi. It is strategically positioned during the Madaraka Long Weekend, offering music lovers a premium experience to cap off the holiday.

This exclusive event will mark the first time four major acts — American saxophonist Kirk Whalum, R&B legend Karyn White, Kenyan star Bien, and Tanzanian icon Alikiba — will share the same stage in Kenya.

What Fans Should Expect

Alikiba teased fans with details of his performance, promising high-energy delivery and a special collaboration.

“I will be performing live with a band and of course this will be the first time I am performing Finale with Bien in Kenya,” he revealed.

The award-winning artist also urged fans to dress elegantly for the occasion, emphasizing that the night is designed to be a sophisticated and classy affair. He assured fans that the sold-out show will be an unforgettable musical experience.

Premium Las Vegas-Style Production

Building on the huge success of the 2025 Kenny G concert — which sold out completely, received exceptional reviews (93.75% rated excellent or good), and saw 81% of attendees saying they would return — this year’s One Night Only concert is being taken to another level.

Fans are being promised a high-end, black-tie, Las Vegas-level production experience, complete with world-class sound, lighting, stage design, and visuals.

A major highlight of the event is its exclusivity. Organizers have made it clear there will be no gate tickets — when the tickets are gone, they are gone. This limited availability has created healthy demand as music lovers rush to secure their spots for this rare musical convergence.

Alikiba’s strong fan base in Kenya, combined with the star-studded lineup, makes this one of the most anticipated concerts of the year in East Africa. His live performances are known for their emotional depth, energy, and crowd engagement — qualities he intends to bring fully on the night of May 31st.
