While addressing congregants, Ng’ang’a proudly listed some of the vehicles parked at his home, saying they are more than just status symbols.
According to the preacher, the cars remind him of his difficult past and motivate him to appreciate how far he has come.
“Niko na Lexus 600, na pickup ingine kubwa hivi, na Mercedes kadogo kana kiti yangu na ya mke wangu… Ziko hapo, siwezi uza.”
Ng’ang’a specifically mentioned owning a Lexus LX600, a large pickup truck, and a smaller Mercedes-Benz, which he jokingly described as a car mainly for himself and his wife.
He insisted he cannot sell the vehicles because they carry emotional value linked to his journey from hardship to wealth.
The preacher also amused congregants after joking that he uses the pickup truck during rainy weather and protests because of its large tyres.
“Kukinyesha wakiwa na maandamano naingia hiyo pickup, tairi yake ni kubwa.”

Pastor Ng'ang'a // Mpasho“I Removed You From Mukuru”
The luxury car remarks come only days after Ng’ang’a sparked another online debate involving his wife, Murugi Maina.
During a service at Neno Evangelism Centre, the preacher publicly reminded Murugi that he had “removed” her from Mukuru kwa Njenga. “I removed you from Mukuru kwa Njenga,” Ng’ang’a told her before congregants.
Murugi, however, calmly responded by saying her spiritual journey transformed her life and that she now considers Karen her home. “I already left Mukuru, so my home is Karen.”
