The relationship between a certain county boss and a top opposition figure has reportedly collapsed… it is beyond repair. After months of signalling a political shift, the governor supposedly does not now see eye-to-eye with his former ally, whom he almost took a bullet for a few months ago. The opposition figure has now supposedly gone to the extent of accusing the governor of failing to deliver in his county, and reportedly asked residents to judge him by that. Interestingly, the deputy governor has purportedly sworn loyalty to the opposition leader, further widening the rift. With that, the governor’s Senate ambitions seems to have come to naught.
