Is a governor  planning a return to the red party in his re-election bid? Corridors has learnt that while the man has kept the window open, he has seemingly  sent signals that the red vehicle will be a safe outfit given the hostility his current party is facing in the region. Some of the county boss allies have already announced their bids on the party at the MP and MCA level. This, observers say, is a strategy to test the waters.

Questions are once again emerging about an opposition politician limited political activities. The politico has been conspicuously missing in the political field, despite the leaders agreeing to individually market their bids and parties to sustain the opposition. Some voices in the camp now feel the politician is supposedly taking advantage of the rest, without putting in the effort and money, and still expecting the camp’s backing. Is it yet another fault line developing? Only time will tell.

Did the brother of a senior government official bankroll opposition activities? This is the speculations in high places. The motive of the move remains unclear since the financier and his brother are considered very close. And not just that, they are also seen as close supporters of the administration. Some say the plan was to allegedly “vuruga” a little so that the system can listen. It remains to be seen if the big demand by the duo would be met.

 A political appointee for a diplomatic mission in Africa is reportedly considering resigning to try his luck at reclaiming his elective post. The ambassador is said to have been spending more time in their backyard, preparing the ground for his comeback. However, he is seemingly facing an uphill task against removing the incumbent, who has grown popular in the absence of the former legislator. But on the other hand, the man is not purportedly sure of retaining the job after 2027.
