The rapper, born Kennedy Ombima in 1987, told his millions of followers that his life feels like a movie. He revealed that he is currently writing a book to document his experiences, particularly the moments he "danced with death."
A Long Battle for Life
The "near-death experience" King Kaka references dates back to a harrowing period in 2021. What began as a misdiagnosis led to a severe health crisis that saw the rapper lose significant weight and struggle to perform basic daily tasks.
During that time, he was hospitalised for months. He later shared images of his frail physique, which shocked the nation. He had dropped from his usual weight to 68 kilograms.
Doctors eventually discovered he was battling a serious illness that required long-term treatment and multiple surgeries.
"Writing a Book and it feels like a movie. Danced with death a couple of times, dined with life, and living in the destiny that was placed upon I,” he wrote.
