The National Council for Children’s Services has announced a recruitment drive to fill 21 vacant positions, inviting qualified and competent individuals to apply.

The vacancies span senior management, technical, administrative and support roles within the institution.

Among the positions advertised are deputy director, finance and accounts and deputy director, supply chain management, each with one vacancy.

The council is also seeking to hire a Principal Internal Auditor and a Principal Compliance Officer, with the compliance office having five available positions.

Other senior roles listed include principal human resource management and development officer and principal planning and strategy officer.

At the mid-level, the council announced openings for senior compliance officer, which has three vacancies, as well as senior information communications technology officer and senior corporate communication officer, each with one position.

These roles are aimed at supporting operations and strengthening communication within the organisation.

Additional opportunities are available at the administrative and support levels.

These include office administrator II, senior driver, accounts officer II, and records management assistant III.

The council also listed vacancies for Driver III and Office Assistant III, each with one position.

The statement emphasised the nature of the employment, noting that “the positions advertised are permanent and pensionable,” indicating long-term engagement for successful applicants.

Interested candidates have been directed to submit their applications online through the official recruitment platform.

 “Interested and qualified persons are invited to submit their applications online through the NCCS recruitment portal," it said.

The recruitment aligns with the council’s mandate under the Children Act, 2022, which requires it to regulate, coordinate, and oversee children’s services in Kenya while advising the government on related matters.

Applicants have been given a clear deadline to complete the process, with the notice stating, “All applications must be submitted on or before May 25, 2026.”
