Politico perfects courting strategy

A top political figure has allegedly perfected his strategy of threatening and at the same time courting other political leaders even as he prepares ground for 2027. In a recent move, the political figure seemingly appeared to warn a senior leader that if he doesn’t work with him, then he is ready to frustrate his re-election campaign. Alternatively, the leader is said to be forcing the leader to sharing positions, particularly eyeing a senior county position. Whether the strategy works is a matter yet to be seen.

An upcoming by-election is yet again bringing trouble in a political camp. Why? One of the outfits in the camp believes it has the priority to present a candidate to as it had the slot in the first case. However, another partner has declared its interest, arguing that it is has the best chance to win the seat. It also argues the arrangement failed in a past by-election, resulting in defeat. This has triggered divisions, with one of the parties saying they will all meet at the ballot, and that whether their main opponent will pass in between them is immaterial.

A governor from one of the restive counties seems to have already decided to change his political vehicle in the 2027. The man, who has been under pressure to join the popular wave in the region, had remained non-committal in the ongoing heated politics. However, his speech at a recent meeting left no doubt that he has moved on, although no clear on his next home. Observers, however, opine that he will return to his original outfit, as they don’t supposedly get along with the leader of the popular outfit.

The official who is stationed in one of the towns is allegedly involved with producers of illicit alcohol, who purportedly pay him huge bribes for him to look the other way. The recent scrutiny comes after an illicit brand of alcohol claimed lives in the area.
