Uganda President Yoweri Museveni is among more than 1,000 high-level participants attending the Africa We Build Summit 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Nairobi.

The summit is hosted by the Africa Finance Corporation in partnership with the Government of Kenya, with a central focus on shifting Africa’s infrastructure agenda from policy planning to practical execution.

Held under the theme “Infrastructure as the Engine of Industrialisation,” the forum is exploring ways to unlock domestic capital by tapping into African pension funds, sovereign wealth, and institutional investors, reducing reliance on external financing to drive industrial growth.

Museveni was received on arrival by the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Diaspora and Foreign Affairs CS Musalia Mudavadi and MSME Development CS Wycliffe Oparanya.
