Coastal political heavyweights converged for a meeting that brought together leaders from across party lines, highlighting growing efforts to align regional interests amid shifting national dynamics.

The meeting brought together Mining CS Hassan Joho, Senate Speaker Amason Kingi, Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir, UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar, Sports CS Salim Mvurya and Kilifi Governor Gideon Mungaro in what can be described as a significant convergence of influential leaders from the Coast.

However, details of the discussions were not immediately made public.

The meeting comes at a time when political actors are increasingly holding strategy sessions as alignments begin to take shape ahead of future national engagements.
