The rivalry between Kenyan boxer Majembe and Tanzania’s Karim Mandonga is reaching a boiling point. The feud ignited just a week ago on Instagram.

Since then, both fighters have traded increasingly personal insults across social media.

Majembe, a Kenyan Vurugu boxing champion, has now issued a fresh warning to his Tanzanian opponent. In a recent social media exchange, he told Mandonga that he would "beat him like a child."

"I’m coming to Kenya to crush you like the Hiroshima bomb." — Karim Mandonga.

Mandonga also introduced a new name for his fighting style. He told Majembe to watch out for "Ngumi Lumaciii." He concluded one post by referring to the Kenyan fighter as a "rat".

Majembe’s Sharp Response

Majembe was quick to dismiss the Tanzanian’s provocations. He mocked the veteran fighter’s age and told him to stay out of the business of younger athletes.

The Kenyan fighter suggested that Mandonga had made a grave mistake by picking this fight. He challenged Mandonga’s physical readiness and told the Tanzanian to "cut weight" before they could have a serious bout.

"Hiyo tumbo papaswa wewe ntakupiga kama mtoto." (That belly of yours, I will beat you like a child.) — Majembe.

Majembe expressed total confidence in his own abilities. He claimed he could end the fight using his "Somali box" technique.

A Growing Regional Rivalry

This is not the first time Mandonga has targeted Kenyan boxers. He previously gained massive popularity in Kenya after a high-profile victory against Daniel Wanyonyi in Nairobi. His ability to sell a fight through "trash talk" has made him a household name in the region.

However, Mandonga has also issued dark warnings to his rival. He recently told Majembe to "say goodbye to his mother" ahead of his planned trip to Kenya.

Majembe remains eager to defend his home turf. He has emphasised that in the world of boxing, there is no room for talk without action.
