Denk Pharma GmbH & Co. KG has partnered with the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) in a strategic move aimed at advancing access to safe, high-quality medicines worldwide.
The collaboration brings together pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise and a vast global professional network to strengthen pharmaceutical practice and improve patient outcomes.
The two organisations formalised their cooperation through a Letter of Collaboration, signalling a shared commitment to quality assurance and responsible pharmaceutical development.
At the heart of the partnership is support for the Pharmacy for All Initiative, a global effort focused on improving access to essential medicines.
The initiative features the Pharmacy for All DocuSeries, a collection of short films and executive summaries addressing key issues affecting the pharmaceutical sector and patients.
The DocuSeries will be hosted and distributed by Associated Press, targeting policymakers, government leaders, non-governmental organisations and industry stakeholders across the globe.
Denk Pharma will contribute one episode, highlighting the importance of access to safe medicines and the critical role pharmacists play in healthcare systems.
The partnership also includes the development of a Thought Leadership Paper and dissemination of pharmaceutical information through AP News platforms. The effort is anchored in a joint communication strategy designed to amplify global health conversations.
Both organisations are placing particular emphasis on patients requiring long-term or chronic therapies, especially across diverse regulatory environments and climate conditions. The initiative seeks to bridge gaps in access while maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care.
FIP’s longstanding global presence strengthens the collaboration. The federation has been in official relations with the World Health Organization since 1948 and maintains institutional ties with UNESCO. This positions the partnership within a broader international health framework.
Through the agreement, Denk Pharma will also expand its existing training programmes directly to pharmacies across its markets, building on established formats to support professionals on the ground.
The collaboration opens access to FIP’s global network of over 5.5 million pharmaceutical professionals, including 160 national and local pharmacist associations.
“Pharmacists are among the most trusted healthcare professionals globally. This partnership with FIP allows us to engage directly with the global pharmacy community and to advance our shared purpose,” said Alexandra Weston, Chief Marketing Officer at Denk Pharma.
“Together, we are committed to expanding access to safe, high-quality medicines for more people around the world.”
By combining resources and expertise, the two organisations aim to empower pharmacists and improve access to trusted medicines, reinforcing their shared vision of strengthening global healthcare systems.
