Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Friday attended the burial of the late Ol Kalou MP David Kiaraho in Tigoni, Kiambu County, where he joined mourners in paying his last respects and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
He also apologised to the family over political conduct that
marred the requiem mass earlier in the week.
Kindiki said the remarks and actions witnessed during the
memorial service did not reflect the dignity of the occasion or the character
of the late legislator. He described Kiaraho as a peaceful and disciplined
leader who worked with all.

The burial brought together national and local leaders,
clergy and residents who gathered to honour the late MP’s service and bid him
farewell.
