Kenya Pipeline Company PLC has officially flagged off its Women’s Volleyball Team set to represent Kenya at the upcoming CAVB African Women’s Volleyball Championship in Egypt, scheduled from 13th to 24th April 2026.

Speaking during the flag-off ceremony, Managing Director Joe Sang expressed confidence in the team, urging the players to uphold teamwork, discipline, and resilience as they take on continental competition.

“Victory will be defined by how well you play as a united team. Support one another, trust each other, and remain resilient,” he said.

To further motivate the squad, KPC has unveiled performance-based incentives, including Sh1 million upon reaching the semi-finals, Sh2 million upon reaching the finals, and an additional reward for clinching the championship title.

The team is currently in camp at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, with Head Coach Geoffrey Omondi overseeing final preparations and selections.

The squad has been bolstered with fresh talent drawn from last year’s national championships, reflecting KPC’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent and strengthening the future of Kenyan volleyball.

The championship will bring together top volleyball teams from across Africa, providing a competitive platform at the highest level while also serving as qualifiers for global tournaments.

Also present during the flag-off ceremony were Sports Kenya representative Japheth Kaunyu, KPC Volleyball Chairman Paul Njunguna, Team Manager Caroline Chebet, Head Coach Geoffrey Omondi, and KPC staff members.
