Popular TikTok creator Hannah Benta has officially addressed the non-consensual circulation of her private content.

In a series of posts shared on her Instagram stories, the new mother described the leak as a "violent violation" of her privacy.

Benta, who recently welcomed her son, Baby K, made it clear that this was her first and only official statement on the matter. She urged her followers to ignore any pseudo accounts pretending to speak on her behalf.

A "Violent Violation" of Privacy

The content, which began circulating on the messaging platform Telegram, was never intended for the public. Benta was firm in her assessment of the situation. She classified the leak not just as a breach of trust, but as a specific form of abuse.

"The leak was a violent violation of my privacy—And this is GENDER BASED VIOLENCE. This is emotional GBV, psychological GBV, physical GBV, and economic GBV,” she stated.

She further stated that the incident constitutes a crime and expressed her wish to see the person responsible face jail time.

The Two-Hour Ultimatum

In a direct message to the individuals responsible for the initial upload and subsequent sharing, Benta issued a strict warning. She claimed that the identity of the person who posted the content is known.

The creator gave a two-hour window for the content to be removed from all platforms. She warned that she is prepared to take the matter to the highest legal levels.

"You have 2 hours to delete it everywhere you posted and everywhere it circulated otherwise we will pursue this matter legally and lawfully to the very end,” Benta warned.

Call for National Action

Beyond her personal legal battle, Benta is calling for a systemic response to digital abuse. She addressed her plea to Kenya’s national leadership. Specifically, she called upon Women Representatives and the Ministry of Gender to intervene.

She used her platform to tag various regional Women Reps, from Nairobi and Nakuru to Mombasa and Kisumu. Her goal is to bring an end to what she describes as a "crime" that affects many women in the digital space.

Focusing on Family and Healing

Despite the public nature of the scandal, Benta emphasised her role as a mother, daughter, and sister. She told her followers that her primary focus now is on her son and her immediate family.

"Authorities are involved and I am focusing on healing and protecting my family," she shared.

She is urging the public to stop viewing and sharing the content. Instead, she has asked people to report any instances of the videos they encounter.
