Preparations for the Safari 7s Rugby Tournament scheduled to take place at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County are complete.

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti on Tuesday made the preparation announcement at her White House office in Machakos. 

"As we welcome teams and fans from across Kenya and around the world, we are proud to showcase our county's warmth, hospitality and unique attractions," Ndeti said.

She said all preparations to host the tournament were complete.

The county CEO urged rugby lovers and fans to turn up in large numbers and watch the game.

The tournament that is scheduled for October 11 to 13th, 2024 will attract leading clubs from within and outside the country.

It's the first time ever for the tournament to be hosted outside Nairobi.
