Chuck Norris, the American martial artist and Hollywood action star, has died at the age of 86. His family confirmed his death in a statement shared on social media on Friday, stating that he passed away on Thursday, March 19.

Family Statement

According to the statement, Norris died following what was described as a “sudden passing.” His family said he was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his death and was at peace. They did not disclose the exact cause of death and requested privacy.
Reports indicate he had recently been hospitalised in Hawaii before his death.

Rise in Martial Arts

Born Carlos Ray Norris in 1940, he began training in martial arts while serving in the United States Air Force in South Korea.
He went on to become a six-time undefeated World Professional Middleweight Karate champion, establishing himself as one of the leading figures in competitive martial arts.
