Nairobi Hospital Board Chair Dr. Job Obwaka and three co-accused were on Monday released on a Sh5 million personal bond each after appearing in court over a case linked to the management of the hospital.

Dr Obwaka appeared before a magistrate alongside Chris Bichage, Samson Kinyanjui, and Valarie Akinyi.

The court directed that each of the four suspects be released on a personal bond of Sh5 million and provide two contact persons as part of the conditions for their release.

The magistrate further directed that the case will be mentioned for pre-trial on March 31, 2026, when the court is expected to give further directions on how the case will proceed.
